It's been two years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Half a million people are still living in tents and in extreme poverty. The church I pastor has been generous and we've been able to build homes, partner in a kids home, sponsor kids, rebuild some water wells and build some great friendships in Haiti. Great progress has been made in Haiti. And I want to invite you to be part of that progress, so I made this goal of finding at least five people who will join in Haiti's renewal by sponsoring a charcoal-efficient stove for a family in Haiti for only 20 bucks. And maybe you will inspire more people to remember Haiti.
These stoves are simple and sustainable solutions to major global issues, and by sponsoring a stove, you can help a family in Haiti:
- breathe easier (by not using an open fire)
- cook faster
- increase their income by saving $232.80 on fuel costs each year.
(1 stove saves $19.40mo x 12 months)
They can send their kids to school, start a business, and eat more nutritious foods. Additionally, each fuel-efficient stove saves six trees per year!
...And it's only 20 bucks!
You can learn more about this amazing impact at The Adventure Project. They're partnering with people on the ground to create jobs, maintain dignity, and improve livelihoods – all through a little stove.
Sponsor a stove and change some lives. And pass it on – inspire others to remember Haiti today.
