It’s been exactly two years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, and communities there are still experiencing a time of rebuilding. But the good news is that despite the fact that half a million people are still living in tents and in extreme poverty, great progress is happening this year.
The Adventure Project is partnering with people on the ground to create jobs, maintain dignity, and improve livelihoods of many in Haiti – all through a charcoal-efficient stove.
Join me in remembering Haiti by sponsoring a charcoal-efficient stove for a family, which can allow them to breathe easier, cook faster, increase their disposable income, and potentially start a business or provide an education for their children. You can learn more about the amazing impact that one small stove can have on an entire community: http://theadventureproject.org.
My goal is to get 2 stoves sponsored for the 2nd anniversary, but of course the more the merrier!
This year, let’s remember Haiti by providing a sustainable solution to global problems. Sponsor a stove and change some lives. And pass it on – create a page of your own (upper right hand corner) and inspire two of your friends to remember Haiti.
